KIM KARDASHIAN POSES ON THE COVER OF VOGUE…SOLO

This time, birds of a feather aren’t flocking together. With Kanye West nowhere to be found, Kim Kardashian landed her first solo Vogue cover for Vogue Australia’s February 2015 issue.

This comes after the couple’s famed and controversial April 2014 Vogue cover as spouses-to-be. While it may not have the same Internet-breaking capacity as her Paper magazine shoot or her bleached eyebrow look in Love magazine, the brunette bombshell’s Vogue spread embraces a natural, effortless, ethereal look. Kardashian uses her world famous assets to rock a natural look from Balmain’s Spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection. She also teased the world with added interior shots of her wearing a black one-piece swimsuit that read “Vogue,” tweeting, “So honored to have worked with one of [my] style icons, fashion director @Centenera for @VogueAustralia out Monday.” Kardashian, Christine Centenera, and French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon **all ANTM fans’ ears perk up** capitalized on the natural beauty of the beaches along the coast of New South Wales for the shoot.

Vogue editor-in-chief Edwina McCann has said of Kardashian: “Kim Kardashian is one of the most searched people on Google, with as many Instagram followers (23 million and counting) as there are Australians. She is polarising. She is regularly the victim of cyber bullying. She is a serious fashion fan. She is also awfully nice.” But hey—let’s face it. Even if some people claim not to be the biggest fan, she does consistently give us something to talk about. And the girl can certainly rock a white dress.
