DOG FOSTERS DESPERATELY NEEDED IN LOS ANGELES

The East Valley Animal Shelter is full, in fact, bursting at the seams. And they need your help. Foster homes are desperately needed for the extreme overflow of dogs that are residing there now. Some of the canine residents have been there since 2015, and have been confined to cages for MONTHS. And a huge influx of dogs is coming in everyday. What would be terrible is if these babies have been patiently waiting for forever homes only to be put down because of the lack of space.

Fostering saves lives, even if it is only for a few days or a weekend. Space is needed so the shelter doesn’t have to start putting animals down. And many of the dogs are fine for working people, as long as they are walked before and after work. And East Valley provides collars, leashes and food; and support from their hardworking volunteers who are on hand to answer any questions fosters may have.

All you need to do is come with your ID that shows proof of address in Southern California (and have any existing pets properly licensed with the city of LA if you reside within LA). You just have to supply the love and the temporary space! The address of the East Valley Shelter is: 14409 Vanowen, Van Nuys, CA. 91405. (818) 756.9323

Please consider fostering and pet adoption. It really saves lives! And spread the word so another dog doesn’t have to die senselessly.
