ALL HAIL THE HANGOVER!

We must really love a good hangover because the one that came out on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 15th has already landed in the top spot as highest selling comedy on DVD of all time! That’s right, The Hangover released by Warner Home Video on DVD has sold 8.6 million units, with 1.5 million units coming from Blu-Rays. That’s a lot of stocking stuffers! In fact estimates are that they will sell an additional 1 million units by the end of 6 months. The film already pulled in $467 million in worldwide box office sales, making it the highest grossing R rated comedy of all time! I am looking forward to The Hangover 2, which is currently in development with a projected release date of May 2011. I wonder where they will be hungover next? Miami or somewhere international like Ibiza or Rio perhaps? Or maybe they head back to Vegas for round 2!
