Last night at the U2 concert in Minneapolis, Bono dedicated an acoustic version of “Stuck In A Moment” to fallen singer, Amy Winehouse. The song was originally written for the late lead singer of INXS-Michael Hutchence-who was a very good friend of the guys in U2. He committed suicide in 1997.
If you haven’t had a good tear up this morning, then I have got something for you. Last week at the U2 show in Nashville, Bono chose a blind man from the audience (he was holding up a sign that said he wanted to play a song for his wife) and lead him onto the stage. So with Bono on vocals and the blind man on guitar, together they played “All I Want Is You.”
They’re back (or “were” I should say!) You all know how much I dig U2, so of course, I went to both shows at Angel Stadium in Anaheim this past weekend for the of continuation of the 360 Tour. Both concerts were more than enjoyable but, I can say that Saturday night’s show was better than Friday night’s concert.
