Showcasing the best in celebrity, fashion, and fun, it kicks off this year on Sunday, September 11th at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City with designer Gudnitz Couture. Other participating designers include: Belle Parish by Ali Landry, WALTER presented by Sebastian, Malan Breton presented by Rado, Rajvi Mohan presented by New Era, Indashio, bobi/Boy Meets Girl/Caravan presented by Starbucks Frappuccino, SACHIKA presented by Alisa Maria, and bebe. Nine amazing shows during New York Fashion Week.

LANVIN FOR H&M

The holidays are looking good, especially since the partnership between Parisian fashion house Lanvin and discount retailer H&M has been confirmed. And there will be both a Women’s and a Men’s collection for Holiday 2010. Get excited boys and girls!
Says Lanvin Womenswear designer Alber Elbaz, “I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public.”
In fact the collections are supposed to be very much in the vein of Lanvin, with “cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details.”
The collections hit H&M stores on November 20th, and 3 weeks before there will be a preview of the clothes on H&M.com. Just enough to get you in that holiday shopping spirit!
RED CARPET ROXY CHATS WITH LITTLE BOOTS
Posted by: | CommentsYou may or may not know Victoria Christina Hesketh aka Little Boots, but you will soon enough.
Two of her singles-”New in Town” and “Remedy” have already hit the Top 20 in Europe, and her debut album, “Hands” peaked at number 5 on the UK Albums Chart.
And this tiny Brit (under 5 feet tall!) has her sights set on conquering the big American charts. Already an in demand DJ who spins during New York Fashion Week as well as several other high profile events, her hit song “New in Town” was featured on 90210 and The Hills, “Click” was played during an episode of Vampire Diaries, and “Santa Fe” on Melrose Place.
She also played Coachella this year, despite several of her members of her crew and various costumes getting stranded in the UK due to the Icelandic Volcano.
During our chat, I found out that she has a severe shoe addiction-like many of us-so much so that she has a “shoe instillation,” and the fashion rules that she lives by. Keep your eye out for Little Boots-her name is so appropriate!
