2011 HOLLYWOOD STYLE AWARDS: EVA LONGORIA, KRISTIN DAVIS AND ZOE SALDANA STEP OUT IN STYLE

On Sunday evening, style expert George Kotsiopoulos hosted the annual Hollywood Style Awards, recognizing those in Tinseltown who lead the way in fashion and beauty. Honorees included: Elizabeth Mitchell for “Stylist of the Year” presented by Kristin Davis; Molly Stern for “Make-up Artist of the Year” presented by Mandy Moore; Mara Roszak for “Hair Stylist of the Year” presented by Zoe Saldana; Tracey Cunningham for “Colorist of the Year” presented by Rose McGowan; Arianne Phillips for “Costume Designer of the Year” presented by Andrea Riseborough; Kylie and Kendall Jenner for “Stylish Sisters” presented by Khloe Kardashian; DECADES for “Hollywood Boutique of the Year” presented by Selma Blair; Chloe Moretz for “One to Watch” presented by Jaime King; Randall Slavin for “Photographer of the Year” presented by Eva Longoria; and Alice Temperly of Temperly London for “Designer of the Year” presented by Alice Eve.

And, of course, all of the stars were decked in their most stylish duds. As Longoria walked the aisle to assume the stage, I couldn’t help but notice how small her steps were. And as soon as she took to the stage, she revealed why she could barely breathe. “This is a Victoria Beckham dress, so you know it is a size negative four!” Fashion over comfort! Blair, a true lover of shopping since she was a little girl, revealed to me that her favorite vintage pieces in her closet were designed by James Galanos. Great taste! And McGowan, who had me cracking up before the awards show, looked amazing thanks to Sarah Uslan from the Luxe Beauty Team.

Khloe Kardashian, decked in a long black sheer dress and bright red lips, headed straight for the bar when she arrived. Saldana remained ensconced in a banquette with a gaggle of her girlfriends during the show, after announcing the break-up with her fiance Keith Britton, earlier in the day. And Davis joked that her stylist and honoree, Elizabeth Stewart, saved her from being in a Who Wore It Best? tabloid showdown with Gisele Bundchen, by selecting a different, but equally gorgeous outfit for her to wear to a high-profile event, at the last minute.

The winners of each of the categories, were all well-deserved and excited. Stern mused that she had never won an award before and that she was on the brink of turning 40! Temperly was celebrating her 10th year in the business, so this honor couldn’t have come at a better time. Phillips, who designed the costumes for Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour, encouraged the audience to watch W.E., the upcoming movie in which she served as the head costume designer. Cunningham exclaimed, “I didn’t even know that colorists received awards!” And DECADES co-owners Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos had the reporters on the red carpet laughing hysterically when Silver said,”We are always looking for women whose weights fluctuate because that helps us fill the closets of our store!” Garkinos continued, “Divorce is great, because (women) have to change their closets up to find a new man. Divorce and weight gain are golden!” Oh, boys!
